You might say he’s born with a camera in one hand and a skateboard in the other, Daniel moves in the intersection of raw energy and sharp, dynamic camera movements, deeply rooted in skateboarding culture. Originally from Gothenburg, he began his creative journey at Acne and quickly carved his own path as a director. He has worked on films for global giants like Amazon, Häagen-Dazs, Vans, The North Face, Apple, and Zalando. With a constant curiosity, he draws inspiration from music and fashion, blending it with the raw aesthetics of skateboarding - creating a fine balance between cinematic storytelling and unfiltered authenticity.
“Music is probably my biggest source of inspiration, and I think that comes through clearly in my work with the tempo of the cuts, the rhythm of the camera movements, the way energy builds and releases. I often approach a scene almost like building a track, finding the right beat, layering in details, and letting the flow guide the storytelling.”
