  • Amalie Næsby Fick is one of the most sought after, multiple award winning and critically acclaimed Danish Directors.

    Graduated from the Danish Film School in 2016, Amalie is extremely productive and in high demand. No stranger to using VFX, animation or real live action, she uses the most eye-catching and direct, yet loveable way of telling the story.

    Winner of the Danish Robert Prisen in 2018 for the best-adapted script and has already directed several films and TV series, including the live action Netflix series ‘Skruk’ named ‘Best Danish Comedy Series in Years’ by critics, but also the highly acclaimed childrens animated film ‘The Giant Pear’. She also did the 3 final episodes of the acclaimed drama series Carmen Curlers, and is in development of the Zentropa film ‘The Good Moms’.
