Nikolaj has worked as a 1st AD for numerous years, learning from some of Denmark's top directors before stepping into the director's chair himself. In his early days, he explored acting and comedy, which, combined with his experience as an established TV show writer, creates a unique blend for a film director who loves quirky humor and possesses an in-depth understanding of the craft.
